My name is Karis and I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I have been engaged in therapy and wellness for 7 years, and am available to help you address a variety of topics through on-line based therapy. I am passionate about supporting folks who are experiencing life transitions, grief and loss, and burnout. When these encounters are destabilizing, they can manifest in ways that include increased anxiety, low mood, exhaustion, pain, lack of motivation, low self-esteem, difficulty being present, change in sleeping patterns, and much more. By offering an intentional safe space I can help you navigate these experiences, lean into ways you feel whole and embodied, and move towards a healing path specific to you.

My practice is grounded in knowing there is resilience, strength and wholeness within each person, while also acknowledging the very real and pervasive structures that may be acting as barriers to your wellness. By accessing these attributes in a trauma-informed way, together we create capacity for the things you want to experience and feel more of. You can expect me to always treat you with respect, safety and curiosity. You are the expert of your life, and I am honoured to work alongside you in the sacred journey of therapy.

I offer a no-cost, 15 minute consultation in order to meet, answer questions and explore if we are well suited to do this work together. Please feel welcome to contact me via email in order to request a consultation.
